Report Flock

About

About this site

When birds start dying, the hard part shouldn't be finding the right number. Report Flock puts the national and state reporting lines for sick poultry on one fast page that works on a weak signal, and tells you what to do until someone calls you back.

It's an independent site. It isn't run by USDA, CDC or any state agency, and it can't take reports. Call the numbers listed.

How the numbers are checked

Every state number comes from that state's own department of agriculture, state veterinarian or wildlife agency website, and each state page links to the pages it was taken from along with the date it was last checked. When we couldn't confirm a dedicated number on an official page, the state page says so and sends you to the USDA line instead of guessing.

Guidance on signs, biosecurity and personal protection is drawn from USDA APHIS and CDC. It isn't veterinary or medical advice; your state veterinarian and your doctor have the final word.

The pictures

The hens and roosters on these pages are cut from The Poultry of the World, a chromolithograph published by L. Prang & Co. of Boston around 1868, which showed every breed of fowl then known. The ducks are from Robert Havell's 1834 engraving after John James Audubon's Mallard Duck, from the National Gallery of Art. Both are in the public domain.

Corrections

Found a wrong or outdated number? Email [email protected] with the state and, if you have it, a link to the official page. We fix it as soon as we can confirm it.

Ads

The site is paid for by a small number of ads. They never appear above a phone number, and they don't pay for placement or influence what's on a page.
